Artist Statement

Echo documents the reverberation between time and space, exploring the void and the physicality of remains. The work highlights transitions of human interaction and our surroundings, in the development of a greater understanding of social history and personal connection.

Focusing on the curious beauty of refuse and observation of the familiar, the photographs eludes to a presence of the past.

The audience is able to question the choices in what has been left behind while creating an understanding of the unknown flux of change and assumed hollowness of materiality.
