Artist Statement

I work across diverse mediums including sculpture, performance, installation, photography and mixed media. At COFA I developed an independent practice and further cultivated my collaboration (Match Box Projects) with Leanne Shedlezki. I created works looking at consumption’s effect on the environment and the everyday, and developed socially engaging projects exploring sense of place. With Leanne I worked in public space creating interdisciplinary participatory works exploring identity, perception and place. We also further developed the Sydney ARI Guide, a project which connects and brings focus to Sydney’s Artist-Run Initiatives.
