Felted wool. Felt is a non-woven chaotic mass of fibres that alters in an escalating cycle of change. The process is unpredictable and irreversible. Its materiality lends itself to metaphors of isolation and protection. Felt’s ability to absorb substance and knowledge is reflective of skin’s nature to engage information.
