Artist Statement

Alan Chan is a multidisciplinary contemporary Visual Artist based in Sydney, Australia. He primarily works in the field of sculpture and installation. He states “Art is a beautiful process. It moves you… it inspires. I want everyone to be involved with my creations. I have this boundless energy and passion in working with traditional materials and combining them with new media. I love the physicality of experimenting, making, collecting and transforming new found objects. Everything I buy or pick up contains a little history or story that I enjoy revealing to audiences.”
