Artist Statement

The language of my practice has always had, in some form, a connection to a construct of silence.

When contemplating these images a relationship between absence and presence comes to mind. How absence can bring thought to presence, and how presence can bring thought to absence. These images closely observe the issue of silence, and are a reflection of our temporal existence.
