Artist Statement

* BDes (2011)

As a designer, my areas of interests are textile, jewellery, photography and installation. I approached my works through rigorous research, experimentation and exploration using different materials and techniques in order to achieve my final objective. Exploration of positive and negative spaces throughout my designs has been one of the many layers that I have been continually applied on my works. Through those approaches then I weave the narrative into the works to engage the audience to see a little bit closer and deeper. Nature, organic forms, surroundings and my cultural background heavily influence my designs.
