Artist Statement

As a kid I appreciated the art in advertising, and the pictures in a good book. As an adult I appreciate still and moving image for the immense power that they can hold, and the range of responses and emotions they can evoke. Image can drive a person to buy that car, take that trip, laugh or cry hysterically, or reflect and ponder about life and everything in it.
I strive to become a master of image so that I can create the responses that I have felt, for others.
