Artist Statement

I believe that good design should be clear, informative and easily understood, good art should should be the successful realisation of ideas, good photography should be visually stimulating and that all three fields should be able to generate a reaction in the audience or end user.

Heavily influenced by propaganda, cultural symbols and Pop Art, simplicity is the key to my artistic practice and my approach. The use of the colours red, black and white, as well as bold shapes and lines, are recurring themes in my works, which range from art, graphic design, ceramics, object design, video and photography.
