Artist Statement

Design is a beautiful and wonderful tool. It can guide an individual, create a powerful experience, manipulate emotion and set a mood. It is also a transparent language that speaks with a clear and delicate voice meaning motives are laid bare and each careful stroke, stitch and sketch can effortlessly speak of love and warmth.

For me, design comes from the heart. I love the imperfect and inexact qualities of handcrafting and I am greatly inspired by colour, texture and pattern. I love all the elements of my design to be in harmony and to resonate with their environment.
