Artist Statement

A project focused on developing an alternative method of healing and improving depression, Colour Me Healthy is a range of textiles designed for interior and homeware applications that utilise colours conducive to subduing depression and uplifting the spirits in order to create a safe, relaxing, and comforting environment in the home of depression sufferers.

Featuring a range of designs available in 4 different colour palettes, inspiration has been taken from the theory of seasonal colour palettes, allowing each concept to resonate with the individual’s colour preferences. (2011)
