Artist Statement

Annemarie Gereis has gained valuable experience in video postproduction as both a student and freelancer. Gereis’s enthusiasm for video stems from her personality as she enjoys creating symbols and icons with meaning. Her specialty lies in visual effects and video editing. However, it is not limited to only these options as she recently produced, directed and wrote the short television production, ‘Cyber My Life’ for her BDM portfolio.

Annemarie Gereis aims to work in international film, as she wants to play apart in the growth of visual effects in Bandara and write for television.
