Artist Statement

(2011) Coco Republic has directed a design proposed-brief to me that they wish to support emerging Australian designers. Therefore I have created and designed a supporting-event for Coco called ‘Forward Motion’, which showcases three chosen emerging, Australian designers’ works. ‘Forward Motion’ explains the image of motion and propelling of Coco’s brand as well as the designers pushing forward and how Coco is guiding the designers through out this process. ‘Forward Motion’ defines movement of progression and establishing connections and linkage between emerging Australian designers and Coco Republic. The connections also involves the designers and Coco Republic with the target audience.

• 2005 - Art Express -­ HSC Body of Work paintings selected for Art Express (my paintings were ranked in the top 10 percentile band in the HSC and exhibited at The Sydney Olympic Park Armory Gallery).
• 2005 - The Eugenia Raskopoulos Art Award for Senior Art.
