Artist Statement

With a focus on painting and drawing, Nina experiments with the materiality and multiple implications of painting and textile mediums. In Nina’s current abstraction work, her practice explores the ethereal nature of fantasy and the imagination as well as the evocative power of colour. In her past practice Nina delved into areas of social commentary, performance, ephemorality as well as precise rendering of form.
