Artist Statement

My paintings are about the spiritual and intellectual field of art, they are the creative diary where I express my feelings, emotions and thoughts.

In portraiture for instance, I try to capture the mood and features of human nature such as cunning, greed, love, passion, inner piece, etc. as well as expressing the richness of old cultures and traditions.

While in abstraction I use the gift of imagination merging it with a symphony of colours and complexity of composition, creating suggestive symbols through the distortion of objects and natural forms.
