Artist Statement

Unique art forms, social & cultural customs of my Zimbabwean background inform my design expression, together with my experience of other cultures and societies. At COFA, I was taught that we are like magicians, possessing a power that can change people’s perspectives through design. My design work leans towards achieving a greater social objective in terms of having the power to inspire, improve and make a difference in people’s lives. I see design as an influential communication tool. I’m striving to be a good communicator with design as my voice for making a positive impact in our world.
