Artist Statement

This project will be an exploration of my cultural heritage and memory. I further explore the idea of memory and how it is constructed. This will be illustrated through collage and photographic warping, suggestive of memory distortion. My works will create the poetic link between memory that has faded and the erosion of a photograph. I investigate colour, line and texture to construct the images of my memories.
