Artist Statement

I want to share the way I see; through the lenses of Islam. When I work, I keep in mind the struggle to maintain and improve my worship, and the peace and beauty of being Muslim.

The main elements in my work are geometric patterns, the robe and shadow. I also interrupt the continuity of pattern to depict the highs and lows of being religious.
After I completed a degree in Islamic Sciences, my knowledge of Islam increased and since then has altered the way I live and my art has followed course.
