Artist Statement

Peering from a plane window as a seven year old, Pippa couldn’t help but notice the small city below her. From far away she wondered how seamlessly things could coexist. In the patchwork she spotted patterns, repeats, scale, colour and texture.

From day dot Pippa has been intrigued by how elements of her environment fit together.

Her work seeks to extend this childhood fascination by injecting environments with the playfulness and spontaneity of youth. Coupled with a contemporary flair, Pippa’s curiosities result in experimental and conceptual designs.

She still asks for the window seat.
