Artist Statement

I was always interested and fascinated by fine art. However my personal journey into the art world opened a little later in my life after immigrating to Sydney. In my works, I seek to balance painting with Biblical foundations. Through painting I express my concepts, beliefs and even personal anguish. I wanted to portray my spirit and passion to touch the audience. The current artworks are a nostalgic mediation of a dreamy world of my own. I focused on the emotions I felt as a Christian migrant artist. In my works I used symbolic objects and metaphors to express myself.
