Artist Statement

* BDM (2011)

As a young girl grows up, she is bombarded with ideas of finding her “happily ever after”. She learns to pine for her Prince Charming, dream of her castle, and become the best trophy housewife she can be.

My work explores the storybook life of a young girls, who realises when she gets everything she ever wanted, she is still not happy. Ultimately, she understands that all her possessions are meaningless, and in order to be content, she leaves it all behind.
