Artist Statement

I try to design in a truly socially and ethical way. I strongly believe in the importance of local and on shore production, with a conscience to encourage the skills and trades found in our locality. My work reflects this as I try to work at a fairly humble grass roots level of design. Our world is becoming increasingly over produced and I want to confront this with a sense of anti design through making good use of what we have at our disposal and creating things with a sense of purpose and functionality- doing away with unnecessary “stuff”!
