Zoe Amelia Nalbantof is an Australian artist born in 1986. Her work consists of narratives and mindscapes using memories and symbols from her everyday experiences. Through watercolours on an intimate scale and oil paintings on a larger scale, she seeks to explore the personal emotions that the environment evokes, using colours and symbols. Nalbantof’s purpose is to engage the viewer in a conversation between her personal subjective journey and the colours and symbols that are grounded in the objective.
