Artist Statement

Attached to the everyday and the disposable memories become the archives of our existence with the possibility of one day being forever lost.

Every image here unfolds a story and trigger reminiscent of the past. I didn’t exist in 1968, nor have I yet come to fully understand the repercussions of death so I cannot adopt these memories as my own considering as they are not mine to bear. These are her references and I am merely a scribe in the process. I am interested in narratives and its containment amongst the daily objects we encounter.
