Artist Statement

The Design. Nature. Aspiration Project aims to promote lung health, increase awareness and foster financial support for medical research into the disease through a range of exhibition based, charity jewellery for The Australian Lung Foundation to take place during Lung Cancer Awareness month in November 2011.

This exhibition aims to raise awareness of the alarming incidences of lung cancer in non-smokers. My designs are not just intriguing and beautifully made objects to be worn but objects that can respond to shared hopes and fears. Together, we can create awareness, provide understanding and support.
