Artist Statement

* (2011) My work centres around the use of casting processes in combination with ready made objects. The use of these technologies allows the creation of both the multiple and the unique through the various stages of production. Within my practice I use ready made objects due to their abundant availability on the streets of Sydney. These objects are re-contextualised in order to fulfil my artistic aims. I also enjoy working with metal casting processes, photography, video art, ceramics and electronics. Although I would classify myself as a sculptor my work extends beyond the stereotypical norm of this label.
