Artist Statement

While studying a Bachelor Of Design at COFA I discovered a love and passion for designing and making jewellery. Specialising in metal work I use brass, copper, aluminium and nickel to make unique, hand-crafted pieces. Inspired by my textile studies I have a fascination for translating the beauty and tactile qualities of fabric in my jewellery. Dissolving the contrast between metal and fabric I aim to represent metal in a new light through the manipulation of surface and form.
