Artist Statement

My work explores connections between the tangible and intangible, and how photography mediates this relationship. The lens renders the world as light. It pulls images from reality, allowing them to be re-arranged as ideas. It’s in the arrangement that the work takes form and gains meaning – photographs are the raw material.
