Artist Statement

* (2011)
Since beginning her studies at the College of Fine Arts, Alex Vavich has sought to enhance and broaden her work by incorporating an interest in digital photography, graphic design, web authoring, and video editing. Her versatility, commitment, and attention to detail enable her to take on projects that require a multi-disciplinary approach.

Her current endeavor is to synthesize her passion for illustration, digital manipulation and photography in a single comprehensive body of work. Alex’s poignant graphic illustrations are designed to startle her viewers and draw them out of their comfort zone while simultaneously delighting their aesthetic sensibilities.
