Artist Statement

Our eyes are stubborn, fragile lenses confident of their authority over sight. But without light, nothing is clearly seen. Beauty is lost in darkness but shines brightly in the light. Light exposes evil hidden by darkness; it shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot extinguish it. This light, the light found in Jesus, that shines and exposes has inspired my work and continues to light my life and path.
