The traditional and ornamental characteristic of textile design has always been my passion. My designs aim to revive textile traditions into contemporary designs. The kaleidoscopic nature of textiles, and its surrounding industry draw’s me to its design. I aim channel the sporadic nature of my everyday inspirations into concrete designs that encompass a strong conceptual underpinning.
The integration and consideration of colour has always been the strongest element within my work and I continuously look to contemporary and historical criteria to inspire the identity of my work, giving my designs a life beyond current trends.
