Resume

Inspired by nature and other cultures, Emily Gunthorpe applies her experience in cross-cultural collaboration with her knowledge of environmental and social sustainability to her practice. Emily studied Textile Design across three universities including COFA (Sydney), NID (India) and UNIMAS (Malaysia). Her training includes contemporary textile practices as well as centuries-old techniques of print-making, pattern design, and fabric construction. While studying at COFA, Emily majored in both Textile Design and Applied Object Design with minor studies in Environments (Spatial Design).
