The COFA Annual 2013

As a burlesque performer and a production designer I have merged these two worlds with contemporary art to create shocking and amusing large scale performance art and sculpture pieces in my time at CoFA. Two characters have come out of this experimentation, Miss Maple Rose is a classic burlesque character and Missy Maplelicious shocks people with her harajuku antics. Maplelicious’ work takes centre stage in this exhibition where she comments on our current obsession with fast celebrity.
