The tiny diamond-shaped patterns found in the red net bags used for fruit and vegetables were the initial inspiration for this work - beauty among the rhythms of daily life.
The patterns found in these domestic objects are replicated, and translated through multiple materials, tools and processes creating a dialogue between the instinctive and the meticulously worked.
At the same time through repetition and variation a compulsive intensity is communicated, which is both reassuring and liberating.
