Central to my work is the process of investigation, a love of play and an excitement in discovery. The process itself is my subject.
A compulsion towards repetition and layering of techniques and materials builds up a momentum in making, opening up opportunities, possibilities and moments of wonderment.
This self-propelling conversation and the delicate tension between the instinctive and the meticulously worked is for me at the heart of what it means to be human.
