My creative journey has enabled me to explore personal experiences and embed them within my visual languages of textiles and jewellery design.
Colour and freedom often play a key role within my work however my major project empowered me to explore the darkness associated with death; Transmigration of My Mother challenged me to tailor and refine my often vibrant aesthetic to create bespoke heirloom inspired pins that were embodiments of my late mother’s spirit and being.
My work is quirky, free yet restrained; to evoke a sense of wonder and narrative in hope to make connections with viewers.
