bio-plastic wrapping
‘Heaven in a Wildflower’ endeavours to harmoniously interweave sustainability, artistic expression and human connection through bio-plastic wrapping tailored for jewellery design. Effectively adopting the role of environmental activism, this work highlights the profound synergy between innovation, nature-inspired design and the emotional depth of gift giving in forging relationships between individuals, objects and our environment. Enabled by the amalgamation of textile and object design disciplines combined with slow design processes, this project stands as a responsive counterpoint to the detrimental, fast-paced nature characterising contemporary plastic production.
