Visual identity, environmental graphics and wayfinding, illustration and experience design
Ellie’s design practice is informed by experimentation, combining analogue and digital methods of making with critical thinking and research drawing from cultural and historical references. Passionate about how design can be used to solve real-world problems, Ellie believes in an intersectional and conceptual approach to design that considers what, when, how and why and the social, cultural and environmental impacts.
Ellie creates design solutions using expressive typography, illustration, grids, and colours that aim to instil emotion and meaning. Her work consists of branding, packaging, environmental graphics and wayfinding, illustration, photography and textiles design including screen printing, dyeing, thermoplastics and embroidery.
