C-Air: Clean the air for cyclists, 2023

'C-Air' is an air filtration device specifically for cyclists, providing cyclists with fresh air while riding. Using the Bernoulli principle and the Venturi effect, 'C-Air' does not require the use of electric drives, which is a major advantage compared to the traditional air filtration equipment in the market. The design protects bicycle and e-bike commuters in China's heavily industrial cities from air pollution, reducing illnesses and other effects caused by pollution. When the product is used on a large scale, it aims to improve air quality to a local extent. The project responds to UN SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, to reduce environmental impact with special attention to air quality, and raise awareness of the problem among local people and governments.

Jinpeng's background is in industrial design and they are currently studying for a master of design, with electives in interaction design and jewellery design. They are committed to relying on their knowledge as well as rich imagination to create designs that benefit mankind and society.
