'Hi, I'm Pea' is an interactive mixed media storybook that re-imagines traditional storytelling. It draws inspiration from works by Studio Ghibli, Dick Bruna, Shaun Tan, Paul Rand and Henri Matisse, bringing the story to life through multiple technologies.

The story follows a curious garden creature called Pea, a plush elephant named Terry and Indra, a little human who is discovering gender expression. This is a story that showcases diversity whilst also championing inclusivity and accessibility. It allows the user to design with childlike wonder.

Kristel is a Sydney-based interdisciplinary artist & designer with a love for solving problems through beautiful and human-centred designs.

As a designer, they specialise in branding, logo and packaging design. As an artist, they specialise in printmaking, sketching and painting. As a human, Kristel loves to play music and learn new things. All practices come together in their work to visually communicate aspects of personal and cultural identity.
