Digital publication and experiential illustrations
Nicole Yagdulas is a multidisciplinary creative using culture, connection and expression to drive her works. In her project ‘Phases’ she aims to increase the diversity and foster the inclusivity of Women Of Colour (WOC) in the creative scene. It consists of a publication that contains interviews and photographs of four WOC creatives - Iwalani Lawton, Jazel Jozic, Ada May Ma and Sahara Deep-Amek.
The publication aims to platform the identities, thoughts and works of WOC creatives as well as offer insight, influence and inspiration to its readers. ‘The Phases Space’ is a conceptualized experience intended for the consumption of the Phases publication. The space aims to bring together like-minded individuals through creativity and encourage people to build connections with one another. ‘Phases’ as an entity aims to create a space, both conceptually and physically, for WOC to not only have a seat at the table, but have a bright illuminating spotlight over them.
