Willow Ferris approaches animation from both a technical and creative perspective. She was drawn to this medium as a way of expressing inner feelings that are not often articulated but also as an opportunity to explore techniques in 2D and 3D animation. Ferris likes to experiment with computer graphics as a creative medium, playing with a balance of realism and surrealism and exploring new and emerging techniques like real-time rendering and procedural animation.
