Echo is a smart gadget kit including a smart bracelet, sensor pads, and a mobile application. The aim of this project is to enhance the mental well-being and overall quality of life for individuals in the early to medium stages of Alzheimer's disease, as well as their carers. The project uses music as a medium to enable users to make the connection between objects and music, to inclusively assist patients using modest technical intervention. In addition, Echo provides health monitoring, real-time location tracking, and communication capabilities, enabling caregivers to remain updated on the health and well- being of the patients. The project subscribes to UN SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being.

Yanyue Ren is an interdisciplinary designer based in Sydney, Australia. With a diverse background in spatial design, graphic design, UI/UX, and jewelry design, Yanyue merges various design disciplines to create unique and innovative solutions.
