Bio-Leather Research Project

I am in my third year of the Bachelor of Design, majoring in textile and object design. I enjoy the making process of working with my hands and I would describe my practice as crafty and tactile. As a young person having grown up within such a fast paced consumerist economy, I am passionate about sustainability and the transformation towards a slow fashion movement. In my practice, I am interested in identifying these problems and examining solutions that may not be immediately practical but prompt us to envision possible futures and imaginary worlds.
