Engaging with alternate photographic processes, which bypass the camera and synthetic chemicals, Inflorescence investigates plant matter as a legitimate photographic material, and reframes photography as having the potential to be an ecologically symbiotic medium. Through processes which invite participation of and collaboration with nonhuman plant matter, my work ponders the creative agency of the nonhuman and more-than-human, and explores how such collaboration may give insight into a human/nonhuman entangled future.
