Chloe Hannigan

I am a designer passionate about exploring the intersection of rich sociological theories and critiques with dining rituals, etiquette, and cultural implications embedded in tableware.

Analysing how tableware embodies social codes and reflects dominant ideologies empowers me to subvert and critique these manifestations in my design practice. I investigate how objects shape experiences and seek to enhance rituals and awareness through interaction with physical forms.

As a designer, I aim to disrupt society's consumption habits by demonstrating how fostering stronger connections with selective objects can combat the current pandemic of short-termism.
