My work considers perspectives on race and gender identities. From inks to screens, my practice explores ways to address unspoken rules of living. I unravel stereotypes surrounding the hyperfeminine with tactics of appropriation and performance. I examine the conflicts and collaborations between my Australian and Chinese cultural values. I balance the weight of these topics with bright and bold colors.
