Ilana Lapid

I am a multidisciplinary artist working most recently with found objects and textiles, though, has a background in drawing, painting and writing. My practice explores the residues of hyperstimulation and entropy (the inevitable decay of everything). Often I work and care for objects that are perceived as "valueless" and seek to elevate/transform them. I believe the chaos and residues of the world can be a place sparking wonder and humour, deserving of time and attention.
