Josephine Blazejowski

My work weaves together video, installation, and textiles, forming a tactile exploration of labour, economics, and the environments we inhabit. Rooted in the landscapes of Sydney/Gadigal land, I delve into the material conditions that shape our everyday lives, seeking to reveal the often overlooked social realities and local ecologies that surround us. I create impressionistic, colourful, and resourceful works that invite audiences to connect with the material conditions of their environment. Through my art, I aim to reveal the overlooked social realities and ecologies that shape our lives, encouraging a deeper engagement with our immediate surroundings.
