Joyce Guo

I am a Chinese emerging artist and arts worker who lives and works at Gadigal land in Sydney, NSW. As a first generation Chinese immigrant, my work explores the migrant experience in Australia and the Chinese diaspora in the context of globalization from both personal and historical lenses. My practice interweaves historical research and personal narratives to navigate identity and belonging, it spans various mediums, ranging from printmaking, painting and moving image to installation.
