Kalana Grace

I am a young artist based in Sydney, on Gadigal Country and Eora Nation, who explores topics of identity and community through a visual practice of painting and installation. I grew up in the Blue Mountains and now practice and study art in Sydney. As a Queer Mulit-Modal artist, I focused on portraying people and studying the way humans exist, interact, love, and feel. In my recent series, 'Madonna's guide to Sex and Fame' (2024), Acrylic on Wooden Panel, I pay homage to celebrity and Popstar Madonna, reflecting on the way fame creates social influence and change.
